Caramel Popcorn

Or as Emmy likes to call it:
Chewy Pah-corn

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup Karo syrup
1/2 can of sweetened & condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter
3 3.5 oz-bags of microwaveable popcorn (natural flavor - no added butter or salt) OR 1 1/4 cups of un-popped corn kernels.


1. Pop popcorn and set aside to cool.

2. Combine sugar, syrup and sweetened and condensed milk together and boil for 3 minutes in heavy saucepan.

3. Take off heat and add vanilla and butter. Bring back to a boil for 1 minute.

4. In a very large bowl slowly pour caramel over popcorn and mix gently with large spoon.

I just made this the other day and had to search for the recipe... If I only would have known to look on your new blog.

There needs to be some type of warning before making this.. because it's completely unhealthy and oh-so-delicious. I am pretty sure I ate it all by myself. Too bad for my kids and husband who didn't get to try it.
